Human Absolutes and...Potential

Muscle simply and plainly, does not turn into fat.

However, one can become quite fat by either having serious medical, hormonal and fat organ regulatory challenges or, by not considering/appreciating some of the info provided in the Chez G and Food Absolute blogs.

You see, a large segment of the human population has the potential to fill and store their 'body-energy-warehouse' AKA fat cells with a substance commonly referred to as: fat. Because in that each foodstuff we ingest has a caloric (energy) value, diets are often formulated with that energy value information kept in mind. However, much of our feeding-desire, tends to care very little for those (energy value) numbers.

When we think of Diet, much of the consideration must be related to the concept of necessity. e.g. will the food you either do or don't eat provide for the energy and sustenance you may need in particular. These needs for the most part should be dictated by: body type, life style, age, gender and desire.

   1. Body types are a cross section of: shape, size, construct, mobility-potential and are usually found with a reasonable willingness to do or provide for the activities you're fond of.

   2. Lifestyle almost always dictates what or how you'll have to be mindful of, as it relates to your body's simple or extra needs.

   3. Age is relative to differing stages of life and the attending caloric necessities. eg. A baby will need to feed at indiscriminate times and as it grows, it will need substantially different amounts, with those usually growing larger. As opposed to a seniors regimen, which often attends to smaller amounts of food and few if not mere singular feedings daily.

   4. Gender's role is one of practical application. As in, a female experiences particular differentials in an on-going fashion, more often relative to specialized functions. Some examples would be: her ability to handle stress, her cycle, her job, her husband, child bearing, maintenance of said child/children, in-laws, teenagers, menopause, grandchildren, etc.

   5. Desire has more to do with how you'd like to look, feel and survive the 'planet', in relative comfort and ease.

All these things add up to our Human requirement and in part, it's potential.
