In the first few weeks of my 1st visit to Voila land, my poor head was struck with a sight that caused both it and me to: tilt, spin, walk side-ways, bobble and smile as if i was high on laughing gas! 

   You see I knew that where one might find 'Buckets-o-Money', fancy homes, ocean breezes-kissing-more-sunny-days than not, fast shiny cars, glamorous living, recognition and adoration...there, you will also find beautiful women.

Beautiful they were, and plenty of them there be!  As in, from where i'd just come, the economy, the climate, the business and most social opportunities were fleeting. (you get the drift)

   After spending a few months in this land of the western sun, i marveled at the open and inviting accommodations made toward the men-by-the women...who were about. But i also noticed a few key things missing. One of which was the men appeared 'oh what's  a good way to put it?'  spoiled and listless. In that I just didn't sense an urgency from many of them. By that i mean the kind that makes one  prove themselves in order to gain favor, from what i would easily call the highly favored. 

Plainly speaking, there was so much beauty, the men didn't have to work at, step-up, bear down or appreciate the mechanics involved when it came to wooing a woman. And certainly no one found a need to be teaching the lesson either. Somewhat like we were all at the beach and everyone had all the sand they needed.

   What's not so funny is, when i'd speak to some of my friends that lived in and were from parts elsewhere, they'd ask "Who's running the show out there G?" 

My response without hesitation always was 'Women run the show, they just don't know it.' 

Now, some, both men and women might say, "What!? That's preposterous!" Whereas others might be intrigued enough to read on. Because i dare say, for any woman that is fortunate enough to find herself established in a community, social strata or structure that allows for more than a semblance, of what we call the ability to make: Choice. That fortunate woman has more power among her peers and patriarchs, than she may ever come to know and realize.

   You see this lack of ability to wield, and expect the respect of her power, has happened in large part because of great misunderstandings of simple facts. And therefore many people (both men & women) have been led astray. Hence finding themselves akin to being in a war with one another.
