Chez G Chez G
Ahem...In order to truly become a good cook, you'll have to get up close and personal with the fare you dare to eat.
And since few people if ever, have ever been dared to eat vegetables:
1st. Pick out a recipe of your favorite 'meat' meal.
2nd Get thyself to the Butcher/Meat counter.
3rd Ask the man or woman in the white smock or apron, "Will this cut of meat go well with this recipe?"
Now, be prepared to receive choice cuts of information regarding the finesse of spices, temperature & cooking times. Watch, as the butcher will be more than pleased to take extra time picking your selection and trimming it in preparation for your culinary (kitchen) touch.
For the gentle (man/woman) person on the go...a crock-pot prepared meal is worth its wait in prep time, delicious eating and provides hearty food that can be frozen for later tastiness.
Now just in case, as it relates to personal preference, health, culture, curiosity, finance and or boredom, you have been dared to eat vegetables. How about you search out a savory, succulent, mind, heart and belly warming recipe, and send it my way. I'll try it out, and maybe add it to my recipe standards. In either case, i'll certainly make mention of it, and you, in a future blog.
